Donate $5 or more, 100% of proceeds will go to Kori and Randy Clark who will offer a $1000+ reward for information that leads to the conviction of the individual responsible for the break-in and beating death of Sadie, an 8 year old border collie - blue heeler. Incident occurred Friday, June 8, in the 2000 block of Colton Blvd.

Offers of help came streaming in Friday for Randy and Kori Clark, the owners of a border collie-blue heeler that had to be euthanized after she was badly beaten by someone who broke into the Clarks' house last week.

The Clarks had already offered a $1,000 reward for information on the incident. After their story appeared in The Gazette on Friday morning, Kori Clark received 15 calls before noon, many of the callers offering to add to the reward fund.

Other people who called The Gazette said they intended to donate as well, one caller offering $1,000 and another $500. Kori Clark said checks made out to Kori or Randy Clark should be sent to 2033 Colton Blvd., Billings, MT 59102. You can also donate through Today's Deal at

If a burglar is not apprehended, she said, the funds will be donated to a local animal shelter. She also asked that donors provide an address where they can be sent updates on the case.

Police said they were still investigating the crime but had no solid suspects.

People with any information about the crime can call Kori Clark at 598-7829, Crimestoppers at 245-6660 or Billings police detectives at 657-8473.
